1. My pet portraits are head and shoulder “head portraits” of a single pet (sorry, but I do not do groups of pets).
- Each painting comes with a textured, one color background in a color of your choice. Custom backgrounds with greater detail are available for an additional fee of 20% of the portrait price.
- Paintings are matted and packaged in a clear museum bag. Because I never know the décor of the room where the painting will hang, framing is not included.
- I work from your photos to create your pet portrait. The more pictures I have (6 to 8) the better… especially head shots where I can see your pet’s eyes clearly. Please note your favorite pose and the most accurate coloring of your pet in the photos you submit. Digital images can be e-mailed to me at: debbie@dhskinner.com
- As a professional artist, I will look at all your photos and make recommendations as to the best pose and background color to use to make you pet look his or her best in their portrait.
- It usually takes a minimum of four weeks to create your pet portrait, but the turn around time may be longer when I have a great number of paintings to complete (for example, from October to December I am very busy with a number of Christmas commissions). If you have a special deadline, I will do everything I can to meet it.
